So last sunday was the 2nd round of the Nitroxcross Winter series, originally set at NRC Raceway but due to bad weather was then moved to frankley.
After a rebuild on my car from LMCC Winter round 2 I was all set ready and prepared for the event. Having not run at frankley for a couple of years, I set the car up as per my Ledbury setup and decided to work on my setup from this starting point.
In the morning the venue was very cold and made for hard work with setup, I went out on silver schumacher spirals for round 1 and the car felt quite good but I found the track quite hard from no practice.
Round 2 i move the arms forward on the top links for more steering but in the run the track seemed to have dried out faster than expected and I struggled with too much grip putting me 11th overall.
In round 3 i decided to go for yellow mini pin tyres as i felt this would be my best chance for a dry run. The car went great and felt quick, unfortunately i have one crash which took a long time to marshall but I ended up going 3rd overall and I was happy with that know I had the pace to contend for a pole position.
In round 4 i kept with the same setup and won my heat and 1st in round but due to the rain during the run this slowed everyone and I remained 3rd on the grid for the finals.
After some bearing changes and a quick change back to the silver spiral tyres due to the cold weather I started the final off well making it upto 2nd place within the first jump section and there i held my position to the end. I struggled with the tyres as the ground has stayed dryed and we all had antisipated but a lesson learnt for the next event which is at frankley again for round 3 of the FMCC/LMCC winter series.
All in all a great day racing and a thanks to my supporters, Answer RC, Toy Box Racing, BLRacing

Its been a long time since ive posted on my webpage and long overdue an update and where my career has changed,
At the start of 2013 i chose to run privateer and try out a few different cars on the market, I settled with the kyosho mp9 for a while but found that it really wasnt my style of car. After the First Rallycross national of 2013 i then approached Answer RC who then took me on board to run the Sworkz S350 bk1 car.
Since this time i feel my racing has gone from strength to strength and improvements on how the year started, throughout 2013 i attended the nationals of which i finished 56th overall an improvement on 2012 and also managed to attend the euro Bs in italy of what was a great experience. Ive enjoyed the car so much i decided i am going to stick with the brand throughout 2014 also.
After discussions with some companies also i have now signed to become a B team driver for BLRacing throughout 2014 for bearing sponsorship and in discussions on my next engine choice after a promising year running Bullitt Engines.
Throughout the winter i shall be attending the Ledbury MCC/Frankley Winter series aswell as the Nitroxcross and Micro Nationals.
2014 i am hoping will really see me grow as a driver now i have a great platform to work with and some great companies for backup.
If you see me trackside feel free to take a look at my kit and ask for setup advise im always happy to help people, I have updated my setup page also with a few setups i have wrote down throughout the year.
Feel free to take a look and download these to help you with your sworkz kits.
So for now thanks for reading and i shall make an update at the end of the winter season
